Things to do in Fleetwood

To get to Blackpool from Fleetwood:

By Car: The easiest way to get to the Golden Mile promenade at Blackpool is to follow the Esplanade road going left from the Belmont with the Sea to your right. The road continues past the mini roundabout and the golf course and veers to the left where you will come to some traffic lights. Take the road to your right, past Rossall School and you will see the tram tracks on your left hand side. You then follow the road at the side of the tram tracks, through Cleveleys and Bispham and straight onto the Golden Mile at Blackpool. This takes around 15 - 20 minutes. Parking for the day is around £5 although different car parks and roadside meters vary in price.

By Tram: As a holiday experience and due to their speed and regular service, Blackpool Transport Trams are the most convenient way to get into Blackpool. You can purchase a day saver ticket on the tram or for 50p cheaper it can be purchased from a PayPoint shop - our closest is around the corner from the Belmont on Bold Street. The tram stop is called Fleetwood Ferry - Go right from the Belmont and follow the coast for about 5 minutes until you see the tram tracks, just after the Light House. The stop for both the bus and the tram is Fleetwood Ferry. Alternatively, you can catch the tram on Lord St by heading left out of the Belmont and take your first left. Follow the road as it curves around the Mount and take the third turning on the left which is London Street (trees line the road at either side). Follow the road until you reach Lord Street (our main shopping street) and turn left. The tram stop going into Blackpool is on the opposite side of the street.

By Bus: We have two regular bus services which go into Blackpool. The number 14 and the number 1. The bus stops are close to the tram stops at Fleetwood Ferry and on Lord Street which you would go right onto Lord St from London St and the bus stop is further along on your left near Mount Street.

Blackpool is a place all of its own. It's vibrant and lively and just driving through the place makes you feel like you've come to life! Everybody will be able to find something to entertain themselves there - whatever your taste there is something that you can find to do to pass ten minutes or ten hours - then come back to the Belmont to relax and have a good nights sleep away from all the hustle and bustle!
